Busta Rhymes–The Big Bang

August 1, 2006

Hey  it’s Anita Applebum, your favorite DJ and your Assistant Hip Hop Music director, with a CD review.

After three years, Busta Rhymes is back with The Big Bang under new management, Shady Aftermath. With hot singles like, "Touch It", "I love my B****" and hot new track "In the Ghetto feat. Rick James", this album is bound to be a classic.  Of course, Dr. Dre produces many of the tracks and you can look forward to hearing Q-Tip, Marsha from Floetry, Raekwon, Nas, Swizz Beatz and Stevie Wonder. That’s right, Stevie Wonder. "Been Through the Storm" featuring the legend, in my opinion is the best track on the album followed by "You Can’t Hold the Torch" featuring Q-Tip and Chauncey and produced by the late J.Dilla.

I give this album 4.5 stars

Spread LOVE!
Miss Applebum
